RAC Access Workshop - Enduring Assignment of Benefits 1 October 2026
RAC Access Workshop - Enduring Assignment of Benefits 1 October 2026
Brisbane North PHN RAC Access Team are hosting a practical workshop designed to help Residential Aged Care Homes (RACHs) and their visiting GPs prepare for and implement enduring Assignment of Benefits (eAoB) arrangements with confidence.
New Assignment of Benefits requirements have recently been introduced for all bulk-billed Medicare services, including GP care for residents of RACHs.
This interactive workshop will begin with an expert-led presentation exploring eAoB requirements, practical implementation approaches, and lessons from organisations already preparing for the change. Participants will then take part in a facilitated workshop to explore local considerations, work through real-world challenges, and begin developing a practical action plan for implementing eAoB in their own setting.
This workshop is recommended for: •General Practitioners working in RACHs •General Practice administration staff supporting GPs visiting RACHs •Residential Aged Care Home management staff •RACH admissions and administration staff

This survey is for peoplewho registered but did not attend the 1 October Enduring Assignment of Benefits in RACH Workshop without notifying the PHN prior to or during the event.
There are a myriad of reasons as to why someone may not have attended the workshop. The PHN would like to understand more about your decision not to attend for two reasons:
Understand ways the PHN can better support attendance in future
To justify investment in future free education opportunities, like this event, despite the high non-attendance rate.
Please share with us your reason/s for not attending. We are not interested in detailed information, rather broad category descriptions of your reasons for non- attendance and non-notification.
All responses are anonymous unless you choose to identify yourself.
