Practice Catalyst Next Steps - Subsidised Cubiko Licence

Thank you for participating in the Practice Catalyst assessment.

As part of our analysis of Practice Catalyst results, Brisbane North PHN reviewed practices across both sustainability and maturity dimensions to better understand where support and resources may have the greatest impact.

Based on this analysis, your practice has been identified for this support program and may benefit from additional support opportunities designed to strengthen sustainability, business capability, leadership, workforce capability, and quality improvement activities.

As part of our commitment to directing resources where they can provide the greatest benefit, your practice is invited to express interest in the following program of activities. To confirm your interest and secure your place in the program, please return the signed Expression of Interest (EOI) form by 30 June 2026.

Subsidised Cubiko Licence - Commencing July 2026

Brisbane North PHN will fully fund a Cubiko subscription cost for 1 year from the installation date. This is only available to the practices without an existing subscription.

Cubiko is a business intelligence and quality improvement platform that can help practices: Practice Intelligence Platform | Cubiko

  • Support chronic disease management and preventive care activities

  • Improve data quality and clinical coding

  • Strengthen quality improvement initiatives using practice data

  • Identify opportunities for MBS billing optimisation

  • Improve financial sustainability and business performance

  • Support workforce planning and operational decision-making

The package includes Cubiko onboarding, training, and ongoing support to help practices embed the platform into their day-to-day operations. For Best Practice users, this also includes QuickCheck functionality.

To maximise the value of this investment and support practices to effectively utilise Cubiko, participating practices will also be required to attend eight group coaching sessions with Gary Smith. These sessions are designed to complement the use of Cubiko and help practices translate data insights into meaningful business and quality improvement outcomes providing peer learning opportunities and expert guidance. Further information on session topics, dates, and expectations will be provided to participating practices prior to commencement in August.
