Infant, Children and Young People Partnership Group

Partnership group purpose

The purpose of the Infants, Children and Young People Mental Health Partnership Group is to coordinate the implementation, monitoring, review and evaluation of the Infants, Children, Young People and Families chapter of Planning for Wellbeing: A regional plan for North Brisbane and Moreton Bay focusing on mental health, suicide prevention and alcohol and other drug treatment services 2018-2023.

The Group will work collaboratively to promote and achieve a coordinated response to infants, children young people and their family’s mental health in the Brisbane North region by leading the implementation of the Infants Children, young People and Families Implementation plan.

The Regional Plan supports the integrated delivery of mental health, suicide prevention and drug and alcohol treatment services within the community by identifying community needs and gaps in service delivery, removing inefficiencies by reducing duplication of services and encouraging innovation.

  • In our August workshop we discussed three questions about our group's purpose:

To determine what is needed for us to progress our purpose collectively, members decided that a post-workshop questionnaire would be useful to get a better sense of how each member is connected (either personally or through their organisation) to Chapter 9's 7 x Objections and 26 x Actions. Link here to actions: https://planningforwellbeing.org.au/chapters/infants-children-young-people-and-families/

The following survey questions have been designed based on your discussion points during our August workshop. The questions are focused on how we can maximise our group's potential through our existing links, resources and networks. Your responses will help us a group to collectively progress and streamline action aligned with our purpose. How we do this will be the focus of our next workshop conversation.

Your responses will directly influence our group's next steps. Your contribution is important to the quality of this work. Please complete the 8 questions by Friday 16 September to allow enough workshop planning time.

If you have any questions, please contact Michelle Costello michelle.costello@brisbanenorthphn.org.au 07 3630 7385.
