Brisbane North PHN has 24 fully funded places available for practice nurse staff to attend Anaphylaxis & CPR

This program is designed for healthcare professionals who need the skills and knowledge to effectively manage allergic or anaphylactic reactions within their workplace. It equips participants with the necessary expertise to handle emergency situations related to allergies and anaphylaxis, ensuring a safe and responsive environment. The program includes the nationally accredited competency HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Participants will gain the knowledge and confidence to perform CPR on adults, children, and infants. Key topics covered in the course include the DRSABCD action plan, appropriate emergency responses, handling unconscious casualties, performing CPR, and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
