BNPCC group EOI
The purpose of this survey is to express interest in a working/steering group in 2025/26.
- Healthcare: deathcare gap working group- Group working to improve continuity of care for people within the North Brisbane and Moreton Bay region when transitioning between health and deathcare.
- Disability and palliative care steering group-To provide guidance on plans to improve access to at home palliative care for people with disability
- Palliative CATQIP Support- to provide support to candidates of the Palliative CATQIP
- Collection of stories working group- To collate stories which educate and amplify the importance of what we do, why and how & emphasise the importance of communication and collaboration.
- Pharmacist & prescriber education steering group- Guide work to improve prescriber and pharmacist mutual knowledge and understanding around palliative care through joint education.
- Compassionate communities steering group- Group guiding the project aiming to commence community development activities to form compassionate communities that enable agency and choice for people with life limiting illness and their loved ones, supported by their community.

Notes on Sub-Groups
- membership is voluntary and members can withdraw at any time
- care is taken to minimise burden on members
- PHN staff will undertake the majority of ‘leg work’ under direction and guidance of group members
- where possible, work is limited to meeting times only with limited preparation required
- meetings are scheduled at best time to suit members availability and will be via Microsoft Teams to reduce travel burden
- in-person meetings may be scheduled if requested by members
- subgroups will periodically report back to the wider group at regular meetings
- subgroup member will be credited in any outputs (e.g. reports, resources etc)
- membership is not limited to BNPCC members. Additional Subject Matter Experts may also be invited to join the group (e.g. consumers and carers, representative bodies).
