Brisbane North PHN had set up five pop-up vaccination clinics in Kilcoy, Woodford, and Wamuran from March to May 2025. These clinics offer COVID-19, flu, and other National Immunisation Program (NIP) vaccinations. All vaccines and clinical services will be provided by Queensland Injectors Health Network (QuIHN) medical professionals. The goal of this initiative is to improve health in the region by making it easier for people to get vaccinated and addressing healthcare gaps. The pop-up clinics are also designed to support local primary care practices by being open on Saturdays for those who may not be able to visit their doctors during regular hours. Brisbane North PHN is funding then pop-up clinics, so there is no charge for patients or community members.
