Consultation invitation: Ageing Well in 2041-Vision and Roadmap

[From the Health Alliance]

Dear colleague,

The Ageing Well Working Group is seeking feedback on the attached Ageing Well 2041 Vision and Roadmap.

As our population ages, there is an opportunity to think differently about what it means to age well and how communities, services and systems can work together to support people throughout later life.

The vision has been developed through collaboration with representatives from health, aged care, community, local government and consumer sectors and sets out a long-term aspiration for ageing well across North Brisbane and Moreton Bay region.

The roadmap is being developed to translate this vision into action by identifying key activities and areas for future focus.

Together, the vision and roadmap are intended to provide a shared direction for organisations, services and communities that contribute to the wellbeing of older people.

As an important stakeholder in this area, we would value your feedback. In particular, we are interested in whether the vision resonates with your experience, whether the proposed priorities are appropriate and whether there are any gaps, opportunities or challenges that should be additionally considered. We also value your ideas and suggestions for the roadmap.
