Multicultural Mental Health Mapping Survey

Brisbane North PHN has committed to embedding The Framework for Mental Health in Multicultural Australia. This involves two key areas of commitment

1. Understanding how we can support our organisational workforce to reflect and deliver culturally responsive practice individually and

2. Understanding how we can support our providers and practitioners in delivering culturally responsive care and practice.

This survey aims to gather a broad understanding of mental health and wellbeing approaches utilised by services in supporting Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities across Brisbane North PHN region including understanding some of the barriers and enablers to CALD people accessing mental health care services and support.

Your input will inform our joint regional planning around the region’s current capability and capacity to support the unique and specific mental health needs of CALD people. Additionally, it will provide an understanding of the knowledge, skills and capabilities already available from commissioned service providers and what additional support may be needed to enhance multicultural competency.
